The Water2Farm crowdfunding campaign with Tőkeportál has successfully closed — a new chapter in sustainable agriculture.
Crowdfunding is a modern form of raising capital in which many smaller investors invest smaller amounts in a project or business. This solution enables innovative ideas to be implemented faster while also building a community around the product or service. The success of Water2Farm’s crowdfunding campaign represents not only a financial resource but also significant social and market recognition, further strengthening the credibility and spread of the innovation.
Water2Farm is a Hungarian-developed, AI-based irrigation water treatment and agrotech system that is transforming water use in agricultural irrigation. During the campaign, our startup reached the HUF 75 million capital target, which we will use for international market entry and development of the supporting software.
The device physically transforms the structure of water so that it more closely resembles natural rainwater, enabling plants to use it more efficiently even with less irrigation water.
The solution can be connected to existing irrigation systems, does not use chemicals or additives, and supports more sustainable crop production.
The capital raised enables us to accelerate product development, support further measurements and validations, and prepare Water2Farm for wider market introduction. Our goal is to make efficient, water-saving irrigation available to more producers in Hungary and internationally.
